| PROFILE | Dr. Ogawa received a B.Sc. in Biology from Kyoto University and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Osaka University. After post-doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen, the RIKEN Quantitative Biology Center in Kobe, and the Research Institute for Microbial Diseases at Osaka University, he worked at the Intellectual Property Cooperation Center (IPCC), where he prepared many subcontracted search reports as part of the JPO examination process, and assigned patent classifications in the fields of biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals. He joined Miyoshi & Miyoshi in 2023. As a patent attorney, he specialises in pre- and post-grant prosecution in the fields of biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, and polymer and organic chemistry. He also conducts trials in these fields. In his spare time, he enjoys attending the opera at the Opera Palace in Tokyo. |
