| PROFILE | Ms. Yuko Hara is a registered Patent Attorney. She primarily works on domestic and foreign patent prosecution but is also skilled in infringement and validity opinion work as well as litigation. She has technical competence in a range of fields including organic and inorganic chemistry, materials, polymer science and technology, and pharmaceuticals. After receiving a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Sophia University, she went on to study German and Chemistry at Ruhr Universitaet Bochum in Germany. Ms. Hara previously worked for CIBA Vision Ltd (a former CIBA-GEIGY Group), as a project leader in the R & D section, during which time she was also involved in patent management and licensing.
