| PROFILE | Dr. Yasuhara has a strong background in biomedical sciences, having obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Kyoto University and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Washington in biology. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, before entering the patent profession. He joined Miyoshi & Miyoshi in 2012. As an attorney, Dr. Yasuhara handles all aspects of pre-grant and post-grant patent prosecution primarily in such areas as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and chemistry. He is an amateur composer of classical music, although he takes ages to compose just a few pieces. |
